Yes. Thor came to me with news of a long-lost sister. When I freed Sigurd from Asgardia's dungeons, I found an ancient map with a cross marked over an empty space. Thor and I took a look and broke into the Tenth Realm, long-sealed by Odin. In short, and after a lot of pointless fighting where our sister beat Thor up for fun, that's where we found Angela.
Angela was raised by Angels who, aside from having the worst impetus when naming children, didn't seem the type to dole out affection either. For the record, Heven is very lovely, but also insanely harsh. Don't RSVP.
[ He drops his phone between them, then plucks her glasses off so he can shuffle onto his back and pull her in. ]
Heven? As in heaven? Didn't realize that was something you guys had too.
[Sinking against him, she'll insist there's nothing peculiar with the way she nuzzles against his jaw, eyes closing from enjoying the continuity of his warmth. She doesn't get close like this with anyone too often even if it was part of the reason for coming here. But it's hard to even think of the deal when she's held like this.]
Heven, no "A" involved if you want to distinguish it in your head. The warriors are winged women of incredible power, not so much going on from the neck up.
[ He highly doubts there is anyone else Verity is this touchy-feely with, but that works out because no one else gets this close to Loki either. With one arm draped around her, the fingers of his free hand trail up and down her arm, his chin buried in pink hair as they settle in for storytime. ]
A long, long time ago in time immemorial, back when mammoths roamed the earth, there was to be a war between Heven and Asgard for various political reasons. The Queen of Heven stole the child of Odin and Freyja, the firstborn of the Aesir and Vanir, but she made it look as though the baby had been slaughtered. Years rolled on, and the baby grew up to be the Huntress of the Angels, a warrior so strong that she could beat down her brother, the God of Thunder, when he came looking for her.
They didn't know they were related until they almost destroyed one another. However! Just in time, the dashing God of Lies brought Odin back from a night without morning, a night that has lasted a full year and a thousand years, and a thousand-thousand more. Her hair looked great, by the way. Full of all the mischief she'd been getting up to throughout this story, behind the scenes.
And Odin said to Thor, "Bow to your kin, thought lost to us forever! Bow to your sister. Aldrif Odinsdottir".
So there's basically a whole group of Amazonian women but in sky-mode. Good to know for reference. [She mumbles against his jaw, growing slightly tired as comfort overtakes her. But even so, she listens to his story intently, following along with every word.
At the mention of the dashing God of Lies, a smile forms that he might feel against his skin.] I was wondering where the hero of the story was, but I wasn't expecting the grand heroine here.
[ He definitely feels that smile, running his fingers up into her hair to stroke out long strands over and over, detangling them as Verity dozes. ]
She saw how the Angels were whaling on Thor and thought, "Fucketh this", slipping off for an audience with Queen where she led her to believe she would betray Asgard. The Queen said many true things, that the heroine was an outsider above all, and appointed her as the Mistress of Strategies in bringing about Asgard's downfall. So the heroine pretended to forsake her beloved brother, who was actually sort of an idiot and believed the whole affair was real, which the heroine was incidentally counting on. She was given the Third Angelic Fleet to conquer Asgard, which she fooled into crashing headlong into Asgard's defenses because they were more the Thicko Squadron than anything.
It was as the heroine said when they insisted they had taken her in as family; "I already have one of those."
Then she hop-skipped through dead time to find Odin, and things panned out from there.
[Fingers play with and pick at the hem of Loki's shirt as she listen, eyes blinking as she works out the details he tells her.]
You used your lies to save your family. You used who you were to take control of things and do something for the people you cared about. [She hums softly as her eyes close again.] See, I knew you could.
That's why it's so important that I get them back. [ His cheek rests against her hair, a huff levering her on his chest until he sinks back down with a sigh. ] My lies.
You're blushing! You're blushing because you thought about me n-a-k-e-d.
[ Cackling loudly, he digs his fingers delightedly into her sides and doesn't even try to hold in how amused he is, making a fuss of preening and tossing back his hair. ]
Wow, Verity. Hang on, I need to arrange myself for your viewing pleasure ...
I did not. [If she didn't, she is now, since he's forcing the thought. Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a mischievous god. Grasping at his hand, she tries to scold him even when the red is still evident on her face.]
We'll pass on the imagery today, alright? [Today.]

You mentioned you just found her recently, right?

[Don't invite her to meet anymore of your family, Loki.]

[ Says the godling cuddling Verity on her sofa, socked feet resting together. ]
If no one gets drunk, stabbed, kidnapped or punched, it's not a real party.

[Not that she's complaining much, incredibly cozy in Loki's arms. She shifts a bit more comfortably on his lap as she glances at him.]
I can see the family trait of always veering away from the normal though.
